Things to know about Dallin Porter

He loves blankies...he has about them 27 of them and he would love to sleep with all of them.
He is crazy about bugs right now....he catches them outside and then puts them in my fridge when I am not looking.
He likes to have a cup of milk immediately after waking up in the morning.
He loves lift the flap books.
He is obssessed with string cheese and rushes to the fridge the minute it opens.
He watches Animal Planet.
He loves hats and shoes.
He shares and gives kisses.
He hates to have his diaper changed.

Perry Pool!

Last Friday we went to Perry Pool for one last Summer visit to cool off. Dallin has been rather cautious around the water this year but Friday he was super happy and playful! Maybe because he is a big 2 year old now! The evening went downhill pretty quick as I ended up with the stomach flu...no fun.

Dallin's 2nd Birthday Party!

It has been a week full of birthday parties but Dallin's was definately the most entertaining! When it came to planning his party I tried to think of the things he likes the most...1) he loves the Teletubbies...2) he loves animals and 3) he loves balloons. Jake would not be caught dead throwing a Teletubbie party for his son and it was definately too hot for a petting zoo so we settled on a balloon party. The night before the big day we took Dallin to party city to rent the helium tank and Dallin took one look at their balloon selection and started freaking out. Jake and I were trying to make some party decisions but Dallin was crying for a balloon so we ended up getting one with a big 2 on it. On the big day we had over 150 balloons and tons of friends over. Dallin loved his chocolate cake and all of his presents. He was a very grateful little boy and said thank you after every present.

Happy 29th Birthday Hunny!

Okay so the Anthon Family(Jake's) has this tradition of cutting out numbers when it is your birthday and putting them up all over the house while you are asleep. When you wake up you find them in random places like the toilet, the freezer...in the cupboards. Here are some pictures for posterity! The nice thing was for Dallin's birthday we just had to take down the nines. Needless to say I am still finding numbers in the oddest of places.

Happy Birthday Dallin. Two years ago our beautiful little boy came into this world! Our lives will never be the same. We are throwing a birthday party for Dallin tonight. Since he loves balloons we will have over 300 balloons all over the house for him. I'll post pictures later!

X Box Live

Dallin always watches Daddy so closely to see what the big boys are doing. Here he is trying to figure out how the X Box headset goes on. It was pretty cute especially because he was wearing my favorite pajamas!

The Cousins sleep over!

Dallin's cousins came for a visit last week and ended up sleeping over! Needless to say Dallin was just thrilled! He loved being just one of the boys and was loving playing guitar hero with them. He was sad when they had to return home. Here he is with Tristan and Brandon in the love sac reading his very favorite book!

Robosaurus attacks!

We went with Rex and Jessica to the funny car races and saw Robosaurus. It was so loud but Dallin loved watching the monster smash and destroy all the cars. I think I will bring my old computer to donate next time we go. Thanks again guys for the free tickets!

Balboa Island

I love this picture for some reason. If you ever get to Balboa this is the cutest little kid's boutique...called magnolia charlie. Dallin tried to hide from us under the clothing racks...cool store but very pricey!

May 2008 Disneyland Trip

Poor Dallin was sooo sick on our trip to California! He had a terrible cough and didn't want to ride any of the rides. He perked up in the evening though and even danced with the Disneyland band. He also hot his very first Mickey Mouse hat!
